At Suwanee Day this year we decided to do something a little different. We decided to give our community and especially the children of Suwanee the opportunity to take part in a symbolic act of service! We asked children, and the young at heart, to place their hand prints on our large fish canvas. Each hand print would be matched with a donation by Suwanee UMC to the Society of St. Andrew, a hunger relief organization. Our goal: collect 500 hand prints and feed 5000 of America’s hungry. A modest contribution of $200 to the Society of St. Andrew provides funding for approximately 5,000 servings of fresh fruits or vegetables!
THANK YOU! Thank you to everyone that contributed and lent their hand(print) in the feeding of 5000! If you are interested in learning more about service and mission projects in our community please contact associate pastor Leah Cunningham.

This is enough food to feed everyone who is hungry!
The Society of St. Andrew feeds our nation’s hungry by salvaging produce that would
otherwise be wasted and donating it to agencies feeding the poor throughout the country.
By bridging the gap between excess food and the people who need it, the Society of
St. Andrew salvages 20-
